Balance the boat and continue sailing
for an angle a couple of boat lengths below the mark.
Crew
Take a little slack out of the downhaul
with your left hand.
With your right hand pull the halyard
trip rope on the right of the mast. If you have the kite
sheet keep it in this hand as you do it. This keeps the
kite flying for as long as possible.
Once the kite is uncleated drop the kite
sheet and quickly start the drop.
