Key points:

• Trim the kite in as the apparent increases
• Keep a slight leeward heel until you are going straight
• Move out on the wires to balance the increased power
  

Helm

Move fully onto the wire as the power and speed increases.

Slow the turn up as you find your best downwind angle.

Crew

Focus on trimming the kite as the apparent starts to increase. After the initial release of the sheet the kite will need to be trimmed in.

Start to move out on the wire but still maintain a little leeward heel.
