Tell the crew you are thinking of a tack.
Keep the boat flat by steering while grasping
the trapeze handle with your mainsheet hand. Keep the mainsheet
in this hand and the main uncleated.
Keep the boat flat or slightly on top
of you as you start the tack by pushing the tiller away.
Stay on the wire as the tack starts.
Crew
Keep fully extended on the wire until
the helm starts the tack.
As the helm moves his hand to the trapeze
handle do the same with your front hand.
