As the boom comes over your head begin
to stand up and cross the boat.
Rotate the tiller extension around the
back of the boat with your hand close to the tiller. It
helps to have a light tiller extension.
Pick up the mainsheet near the centre
jammer with the same hand you let go of the trapeze handle
with.
Crew
Crouch down as you cross under the boom
facing forward and keeping your weight as far forward as
possible.
Let go of the jib sheet and pick it up
with your new back hand from close to the cleat.
You should now be focusing on the new
trapeze handle, ready to grab it.
